Our volunteer bakers provide the time, talent and materials needed in order to fulfill a child's dream cake (or baked item).
You don't have to be a professional baker, but if you have a knack for baking and can confidently create delicious cakes, cupcakes and cookies based on a child's selected theme, then WE NEED YOU!
How does it work?
1. Apply to become an Agape Baker (RED button below).
2. Upon approval, you will recieve an approval email and you will be added to our list of available bakers.
3. When a new request for a baked creation comes in, a notification will be sent out to all of our bakers with details and deadlines.
4. If you would like to volunteer for the project, simply reply back. Bakers are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. We will let bakers know who is assigned to the project.
5. Ideally, you will deliver your baked creation to the member organization and experience the joy you've just spread. However, if you need assistance in delivery of your baked goods, please notify us in advance.
You can volunteer for as many or as few projects as you wish. The more you bake, the more smiles you create and the more love you share.
Member Organizations are local non-profit organizations that serve families in crisis by providing temporary and transitional housing. These include homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters and transitional housing services as well as agencies that assist children in need of services (CHINS).
Organizations must have a current copy of the IRS Affirmation or Determination Letter issued to your organization, confirming your organization's non-profit status.
Agape Cake Club provides baked creations to clients of these member organizations who are celebrating a birthday or other important life event. Clients are children 17 and under.
Agape Cake Club is dependent on the availability of our volunteer bakers. New member organizations will be considered based upon both approved application as well as number of volunteer bakers available. We can not guarantee that all qualifying organizations or all order requests can be approved due to volunteer baker availability at any time.
